A Poem about Scotland

Let me feel the breeze of a summer’s day in Scotland’s wide open skies
Where in wonder I can listen to the Oyster Catcher’s eerie cries.
Breathe in the scent of wild blossom, heavy in the balmy air.
And in tranquillity and wonder. . stand and stare.

Each season brings a different mood, each changing sky – another view,
Enjoy them all in their unique beauty, for they mean the world to you.
Dazzling streams and hidden valleys, tall and ancient trees,
Sizzling sunsets in a November sky, thank you for all these.

Childhood memories and first kisses bring other special sights
Just as magical as the fledgling, attempting its first flight.
So whatever picture, sound or phrase is distinctive in this place
To you, they express your heart and soul, and exist by God’s good grace.
