Scotland by Colin McMillan

I was delayed waiting on a flight home from a meeting in the e midlands and decided as i had consumed the daily paper to try and write somthing about my country. here it is.

SCOTLAND

You look out the window it's a room with a view,
rows of houses and rain,
it seems nothing new.
But look a bit further than the end of your street,
go anywhere by car, bus, train or boat,
who knows who you'll meet.
Who needs a plane, when we could go by car,
to see things of beauty, in this world the best by far,
from sweeping sea coastlines, to the steepest of walk,
visitors who come here can do nothing but talk,
about activities and adventures, even on the cloudiest of days,
why do we need to fly to take in some "rays".
For what's out my window to me means alot.
That's why i'm proud to say,
THAT I AM A SCOT.
