My favourite place is the beach outside my old house at Powfoot.  Let me tell you all about it.

It is beautiful and calm when the sun is out and the sea hardly makes a ripple.  The sea changes a lot.  It can be really calm, very far out and it can be very wild at times.  When you are on the beach you can see across to Silloth and the hills in the Lake District, which are really beautiful.  You can also have a lot of fun on the beach by collecting stones to paint and drawing pictures in the sand.  It is special to me because I have lived there all my life and I have a lot of memories from being there.  I go on the beach a lot with friends and family because there are so many things to do there.
